Terms and Conditions

Sequence of Booking

  1. Place order online 
  2. Pay the rental charge
  3. Pay the deposit
  4. Collect garment (day 1)
  5. Special Event (day 2)
  6. Return garment (day 3)
  7. Deposit refunded

When choosing to rent garments through Dress Perfect Boutique you are agreeing to take care of the outfit you have chosen to hire.

Ensuring there is no damage to the garment upon return. If there is damage to the garment you have rented from us you will be expected to pay a damage fee.

The damaged garment will be taken to a seamstress for the repair, and you will be sent the receipt of the repairs as well as an invoice.

Make-up smeared and stained garments will be taken to the dry cleaners and the receipt, and an invoice will be sent to you for payment.

Failure to comply with payment will result in Dress Perfect Boutique passing the matter onto our debt collection agency.

When renting with Dress Perfect Boutique you will be expected to return your finished rental the next working day to your rental date.

Collection of Booked Garments:

We will send you a text / email as to when your order is ready to be collected. Collections are normally 1 day before your special day. Should you require an alternative collection date, you are welcome to discuss it with us. We will accommodate you to the best of our abilities. 

We are open:

Monday-Friday - 4pm to 7pm.

Saturdays - 9am to 5pm.

Sundays - 10am to 2pm.

Return your order to the same address of Dress Perfect Boutique the next day after your rental date. Not complying to this rule will ensure an additional bill for the additional days the garment was in your possession. 

 

Postal Orders:

We do not do postal orders. Dress Perfect prefer you fit the dress before you rent it and return it to the same address the next day after your special day.

Swapping orders:

If you have placed an order with us and decide you would like to swap your order please email us at annie@eileez.co.nz to inquire about this. We will confirm if it is possible and if the garment is available on the date you requested.

 Swapping your outfit to something else:

If you have placed an order with us and would like to swap your rental over to a different outfit the amount spent on your original order will be put towards the outfit you would like to swap to.If there is an amount to pay (the outfit you are swapping to is more expensive than your original order) we will send you an invoice for the changes made - The outfit you are wanting to swap to will not be confirmed until the amount owning has been paid.

We will keep your original booking confirmed until payment for your new outfit has been made, and we will put a 24 hour hold on the outfit you would like to swap to, in this time we recommend paying your invoice. 

After 24 hours we will take the hold off the outfit you would like to swap to - If the outfit you are wanting to swap to does end up getting rented after we take this hold off unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this. 

If the outfit you are wishing to swap to is cheaper than your original order your new booking will be confirmed immediately as payment has been covered by your original booking. If there is residual remaining from your original order, this amount credited to you.

Please know that we may not be able to swap your order over:

  1. This will be due to the outfit not being available for your intended date - This is the only time we will NOT be able to swap your order. 
  2. If we are not able to swap your order, we will ask you to either pick out another outfit.
  3. You can request a store credit for the amount spent.

 

Swapping your order to another date.

If for any reason you need to swap your order to a new date, please let us know of this change immediately by sending us an email.

*Please know that we may not be able to swap your order over, this will be due to the outfit not being available for your intended date - This is the only time we will NOT be able to swap your order. 

If we are not able to swap your order, we will ask you to either pick out another outfit, or you can request a store credit for the amount spent.

Taking rentals overseas:

Unfortunately, we do not allow our rentals to be taken overseas due to the risk of losing our garments. You are more than welcome to buy it.

Postal Orders:

We do not do postal orders. 

Returns and Late Fees

You agree to return the garment in the condition of its original form and on time, otherwise you agree that you will be charged the following fee:

  1. Late fees.

Late fees will apply after the day you were expected to return your completed rental.

You will be charged $35.00 for every day the garment is late.

  1. If a rental item is damaged upon return, you will be sent an invoice for the repairs, or replacement of the garment depending on the extent of the damage. If you are unwilling to pay for repairs, or replacement of the good(s) you damage, this matter will be passed onto a debt collection agency.
  2. Replacement fees. The replacement fee will vary depending on the item needing to be replaced. The replacement fee will be the same price as the retail value of the item. Replacement fees will apply if the garment is lost by the customer or was damaged beyond repair upon return. An invoice will be sent to you, you are required to pay the invoice within 10 working days. If you are unwilling to pay this invoice Dress Perfect Boutique will be contacting a debt collection agency. 

If a garment is not returned or has been late for 14 days, you will be billed the 14 days late fee as well as the replacement fee. For every day the item is late you will be charged $35.00. 

Dress Perfect Boutique will give you 14 days from the return date to return the item(s) you have rented. Once past 14 days you will receive an invoice for the late fee as well as the replacement fee as Dress Perfect Boutique will need to make this item available to rent for other customers.

Failure to comply with this will result in a debt collection agency being contacted, and your ongoing credit rating will be affected by this. 

You agree that if any charges are passed on to a Debt collection agency you will be liable for their fees and recovery costs.

Cancellations and Charges

Our cancellation policy lasts 24 hours. If 24 hours has gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If the garment has been taken away from our premises, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. 

Our refund policy lasts 24 hours since your order has been placed. If you let us know within this time frame, and your item has not already been collected by you, you will be eligible for a full refund. Any time after this, you will be eligible for a STORE CREDIT VOUCHER for the amount you paid.

The STORE CREDIT VOUCHER will last up to 12 months, and you must use it up within this time frame. 

Disputes: 

Where a dispute arises out of the hire and/or the return of the garment, you agree to advise Dress Perfect Boutique of this dispute within five days of it occurring.

Refund Policy

Cancellation: 

Our cancellation policy lasts 24 hours. If 24 hours has gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. If it has been taken away from our premises, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. 

Our refund policy lasts 24 hours since your order has been placed. If you let us know within this time frame, you will be eligible for a full refund. Any time after this, you will be eligible for a STORE CREDIT VOUCHER for the amount you paid. The STORE CREDIT VOUCHER will last up to 12 months, and you must use it up within this time frame. 

Buy Now Products: We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any "Buy Now" products bought from our website, unless faulty. No exceptions.


Refund
If you receive a product that doesn't match the quality level that we have described our products to be at, you must contact us within 24 hours of its receipt to be eligible for any form of reimbursement. 

We do not issue refunds if the garment does not fit, or if you do not like how it sits on you. This is the risk you take when you rent something. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Dress Perfect Boutique agrees to lease the property described in the invoice/contract to the Renter on the following terms and conditions. 

The Renter acknowledges that in any case of default of these terms and conditions Dress Perfect Boutique may require the service of a debt collection agency at the Renter's cost. The property that the Renter takes possession of, as detailed in the invoice/contract is owned by Dress Perfect Boutique. The Renter has examined the property and knowledges that the property is received in good condition and is safe and suitable for its intended use. Dress Perfect Boutique will not be liable in any way in respect of any claim made against the Renter for any damage caused by the Renter's use of the property. Dress Perfect Boutique will not be liable to the Renter or any third party for any damage or loss resulting from any defect, failure, or breakdown in the property from any cause. Such cause presumes an absence of any negligence on the part of Dress Perfect BoutiqueDress Perfect Boutique will not be liable to the Renter or any third party for any damage or loss resulting from any defect.

We reserve the right to alter and/or add to our hire terms and conditions as required. Any changes to our terms and conditions will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon the posting of those terms and conditions on our website. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that they are aware of the latest terms and conditions and that hire of any items is an acknowledgement by the Renter of our terms and conditions as amended. Dress Perfect Boutique guarantees that we will NOT provide any of the Renter's information to third parties without prior consent and knowledge.
